I have found that taking 100 mg of vitamin B-2 daily has completely rid me of my migraines. I had heard about this, but wasn't sure about it. When I read that B-2 was given as a preventive treatment along with beta-blockers (couldn't take enderal as I have low blood pressure, normally) I decided on taking the B-2 alone. Since then I haven't had the first headache or sign of one. I normally have at least 2 migraines per week.
I would suggest you at least give it a try. It's cheap and is not harmful. The daily recommended daily dosage is 1.5 mg for adult women. 100 mg daily is the dosage recommeded for the prevention of migraines.
I wish I had known about this sooner. It would have saved me 10 years of misery.
Here's hoping it continues to work.
